| Deas Park is right on the Fraser River with lots of
shade trees, some picnic benches, grassy areas and walking trails through some of the
trees. It is very simple to get to... if coming from the south you come up I-5 through the
border and come up about 15-20 minutes and take River Road Exit. Turn right and follow
River Road about 2-3 miles and the park will be on your left. If coming from the north you
would come through the George Massey Tunnel, take the 2nd exit, which is River Road.
Follow the signs for River Road which means you will be turning left. Again follow River
Road for 2-3 miles and the park will be on your left. If you are coming from Vancouver
Island stay right on the same road you get off the ferry on. it is Hwy 17 which turns into
River Road. This is just a picnic, no organized events or games or anything. Please bring
your own lunch, blankets, xpens, water etc. If you have any questions, or need better
