3/18/03 ~ Lil Bit went to the vet today for a re-wrap.  While she was there, they took out ALL of her staples!  HOORAY!!  The bite site on her broken leg was scrubbed, tended to and re-wrapped in bright sunny yellow vet wrap.

We did have a "bit" of a set back today.  Over the weekend, a cyst or lump of some sort was found over her right hip.  We thought it was just a fatty tumor that many older dogs get but there was too much vascular activity going on in it.  The vet aspired some of it and sent it off to the lab.  We should find out in 2 or 3 days what's going on.  Keep Lil Bit in your thoughts and prayers as you've always done to get her through this attack.   Hopefully, you all can get her through this latest crisis.  We'll keep you updated.
